These photos were taken at the Christmas party in 1988.
The first photo shows the group as they calmly and patiently wait for their presents; the next two show people enjoying their.gifts in the clutter created in opening the gifts.
Then we have a little food (picture number 4) and a little conversation (picture numbers 5 and 6) to make the event complete.
The last two photos show Grandpa overseeing the chaos and then Mike apparently pointing his finger at the guilty party in his sleep. I really don’t know what is going on in this last photo.
I just finished building the pages with the Christmas pictures from 1983, 1985, and 1988 and I noticed that the pictures are all interchangeable except for the size of the kids and the aging of the adults. I guess that is what creates a tradition — the same people doing the same activities in the same way year after year.
