These photos were taken at a post holiday gathering at our Columbia house. The first is a kitchen scene at dinner time — a little chaotic.
Louise has her hands full in the next picture with two borrowed toddlers.
The next three show kids at play; there is a chess game in progress, a coloring session with a lunchbox full of crayons that we still have about 40 years later, and a godfather and godson in a Playschool session.
The next three show groups of adults in a common pose, sitting around a table. Note Vern’s firm grip on his Lucky Charms, actually I never saw him eat any.
The last four show the older kids gathered in the lower level — this starts out as conversation progressing to roughhousing.
