Here are a few pictures form a side trip to New Orleans that we took during our visit with Tim and Dawn in Texas
The first one is a posed shot with the St Louis Cathedral in the background. The next one shows the boys helping each other across the street with the Jackson Brewery in the background. Dawn is off to the side trying to pretend that she doesn’t know the street crossers.
The next three were taken on a boat crossing the Mississippi to get to Algiers to visit the Mardi Gras Museum. The first shot shows four of the men with Joe off by himself. Once he decided to join the group, Tim drifted away.
The last three photos are scenes from inside the Museum. They show the four boys in costume, the queen in all her splendor and, finally, Smokey the Bear with one of his dedicated fans.
